Explore the lower plains of the Big Horn mountains and ride off into the rolling hills that back up to our National Forest. Never been on a horse before? Not to worry, our wranglers have opened the door to western riding for many first timers and will have you riding like a true cowboy or cowgirl before you return to the barn. Daily horseback rides leave the Triple Three Ranch in nearby Buffalo, WY offering hourly, half and full-day rides.
Saddle up and head out of the 333 Ranch corral to meander, trot, lope across hay fields and the rolling hills of the rock creek drainage with the abundant deer and antelope with the Big Horns as your senic back drop.
Take a ride up through Fire Box Park or Cougar Canyon for a mid-day stop at Ginger's Cabin. Take in the incredible views of nearby snow-capped mountains while you enjoy a quick lunch. The ride down along the south fork of Rock Creek will be one that you won't soon forget.
With a packed lunch in your saddle bag, you will head out to explore the winter feed grounds of a nearby heard of elk. Keep your eyes peeled for antlers hiding in the grass that are shed every season by elk, deer and moose.
"Sit back and enjoy the ride."
